WELCOME MESSAGE
Welcome to the FORTMED Conference.
The FORTMED 2027 Organising Committee welcomes the research community interested in the debate on MEDITERRANEAN FORTIFICATIONS and invites participation in the 10th edition of this International Conference through the submission of contributions in Full Paper or Short Paper format.
The Conference will take place on April 15, 16, and 17, 2027, at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación of the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain).
All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, included in a collection with ISBN/ISSN codes available in Open Access. For inclusion in the proceedings, at least one author of each paper must complete registration and pay the corresponding fee. Papers submitted after the deadline will NOT be included in the Conference Proceedings.
The official language of the Conference is English, although contributions in Italian and Spanish will also be accepted, both for written texts and oral presentations. The Conference will NOT provide simultaneous translation. In order to facilitate understanding, the use of English in presentation slides is recommended.
The best oral presentation in each thematic area will be awarded the “Best Paper” prize.
