ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS
The Polytechnic of Tirana invites all academics and profesionals interested in the debate on FORTIFICATIONS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN to submit their contributions in FORTMED 2024 International Conference, both as a full paper or as short paper.
Abstracts

The conference scientific committee will determine accepted abstracts, the results of the evaluations will be communicated to the authors.
PAPERS
PRESENTATION WILL OPEN AFTER ABSTRACTS ACCEPTANCE
Upon receipt of the acceptance of the abstract a paper should be presented.
The Scientific Committee will conduct a blind peer review, determining the acceptance or rejection of communication, and in any case, the facts justifying the exclusion or modification.
All duly accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN, after paying the tuition at least one author. Submissions received after the deadlines may not be included in the conference proceedings.
Oral presentation
The Scientific Committee will select the communications to be presented orally at the Conference. The organization will inform to the authors beforehand.
The official languages of the Congress are English and Italian, however Spanish can also be used. Simultaneous translation will NOT be available at the Conference. For a better understanding, if the presentation has texts, they must be written in English.
The time for each intervention will be 20 minutes, of which a maximum of 15 minutes will be dedicated to oral communication, allowing 5 minutes to change from one speaker to another.
Debates will be organized as indicated by the final program, where the speakers must be present in order to answer questions.
Participants should take into account the current deadlines and registration fee.
